Student Experience

The SCM Community

Meet the people who will challenge and inspire you—and become your go-to network.

The MIT Supply Chain Management program is demanding, but it’s also collaborative— and fun! In an MBA program, you could be part of a cohort of 200 or more. In our program you’ll join a cohort of 80 students, a vibrant group of supply chain thinkers and doers with the same interests and passions as you. And by the time you graduate, your classmates, professors, and program staff will feel more like family.

From orientation on Boston’s Thompson Island to cultural holiday parties, ski trips, student Instagram takeovers, bi-weekly research talks, and alumni and recruiter visits, you’ll have plenty of ways to get involved—making lasting friends and connections along the way. As an SCM Master’s student, you’ll also be part of the MIT School of Engineering—and all of MIT. The vast student resources of both will be at your fingertips.

Diversity, inclusion, equity, and well-being—not just a phrase, but commitment.

We’re a community that welcomes and embraces a diverse group of people, with different backgrounds, perspectives, and ideas. We believe it’s the key to devising the best solutions to the biggest problems and greatest challenges.

To ensure all students reach their goals, we promise a welcoming, inclusive environment that gives you the freedom to be your whole self. Learn more about our unwavering commitment to diversity and the many DEI resources available to you as an SCM Master’s student through the MIT School of Engineering.
